However many people that play the game actually don’t believe that there are set rules in the game. However what is miniature golf or what is better known as mini golf? This is a smaller version of golf usually played on a much smaller course that consists of playing a ball from the tee into a hole by what is known as a golf stroke or consecutive golf strokes in accordance with miniature golf rules. There are rules that must be followed and these fall in that the following categories:

Rules of Miniature Golf Stroke Play

The player that completes the required round or rounds of mini golf using the least amount of golf strokes is declared the winner. So if a player used 10 stokes and his opponent used 15 then the first player wins. There is a golf stroke limit on each hole along the course, so if you take more than 5 strokes to sink the ball on a 4 stroke hole you have actually lost as you exceeded the number of tries particular hole. You get a mini golf penalty when you do the following:

The miniature golf ball leaves fairway – if this occurs you must play the next shot from point that the golf ball left the fairway.

If the mini golf ball is caught in an obstacle – if this occurs remove the ball and play it from the closest playable spot..

MOST MINI GOLF COURSES USE RAILS: If the golf ball is too close top a rail to be played it should be move at maximum six (6) inches away from the rail.

When you reach the putting green, the player that gets there first will play until he sinks the ball in the hole.

Miniature Golf Equipment

You must use standard golf clubs whne playing the game. Here are a few examples of standard golf clubs.

[eminimall products="miniature golf club"]

Mini Golf Player’s Have Responsibilities

Normally not more than four players should ideally play the game at once

These should never be handicapping of the mini golf scores.

Players on the course should never delay the game without good reason.

No Practicing, you don’t get a chance to practice in the game.

A swing and miss is NOT a hit, that’s important lots of mini golf courses use this tactic to speed up the games.

All the mini golf strokes are counted, EVEN penalties too so be careful how you swing your club

Hybrid golf clubs are basically a new phenomenon in golf club design and development. Many golfers are still unaware to what hybrid golf clubs actually are. Hybrid golf clubs were actually golf clubs designed for recreational golfers that would make it easier for them to hit the golf ball. However the hybrid has become so popular that some tournament and professional golfers are using this type of club in their arsenal of clubs. This is mainly for the pro golfer who wants to get some light practice as the design is really for the recreational golfer on the green who really just wants to have a good time knocking around the golf ball. Originally hybrid golf clubs were called utility golf clubs. This means that typically the hybrid golf clubs are made from both wood and iron and not just iron only.

The purpose of combining both wood and iron makes the best hybrid golf clubs. The technical features achieve several things when playing the game and hence make the game quite easy for the recreational or new golfer.

Allows the ball to airborne with greater distance and height

Reduces the likelihood of misses on each swing at the ball

Makes for a straighter shot

Diggs the ball out of the sand a lot easier.

However most comparisons are done on hybrid golf clubs in comparison to other golf clubs, the 2 iron to even the 5 iron clubs and the hybrids are said to be quickly replacing these traditional clubs. So if shopping for these types of golf clubs you would want to really drop a dime on the hybrid golf set. But before you use these hybrid golf clubs you should know a bit about the game. These clubs won’t make you into an instant success but it will improve your current game. If you are serious about golf however you should stick to the more traditional clubs and when you become used to your own game and have perfected your golf swing you can try out these utility clubs.

Primarily let us examine the Best Hybrid Golf Clubs vs the regular iron.

The hybrid golf clubs are wider than the regular iron.

The face of the hybrid club is not as high as the regular iron so you won’t hit the grass or ground as much.

When you hit down and through the ball with the hybrid it has a better trajectory than the iron.

The hybrid golf club design will eventually replace the fairway club.

Browse one of these actual hybrid clubs
