However many people that play the game actually don’t believe that there are set rules in the game. However what is miniature golf or what is better known as mini golf? This is a smaller version of golf usually played on a much smaller course that consists of playing a ball from the tee into a hole by what is known as a golf stroke or consecutive golf strokes in accordance with miniature golf rules. There are rules that must be followed and these fall in that the following categories:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: Verdana">Rules of Miniature Golf Stroke Play<o:p></o:p></span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Verdana">The player that completes the required round or rounds of mini golf using the least amount of golf strokes is declared the winner. So if a player used 10 stokes and his opponent used 15 then the first player wins. There is a golf stroke limit on each hole along the course, so if you take more than 5 strokes to sink the ball on a 4 stroke hole you have actually lost as you exceeded the number of tries particular hole. You get a mini golf penalty when you do the following:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<ul>
<li><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: navy">The miniature golf ball leaves fairway</span></em></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana"> – <em>if this occurs you must play the next shot from point that the golf ball left the fairway. <o:p></o:p></em></span></li>
<li><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: navy">If the mini golf ball is caught in an obstacle</span></em></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana"> – <em>if this occurs remove the ball and play it from the closest playable spot..<o:p></o:p></em></span></li>
<li><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: red">MOST MINI GOLF COURSES USE RAILS: </span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana">If the golf ball is too close top a rail to be played it should be move at maximum six (6) inches away from the rail. <o:p></o:p></span></li>
<li><strong><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #003366">When you reach the putting green</span></em></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana">, the player that gets there first will play until he sinks the ball in the hole.<strong><o:p></o:p></strong></span></li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: Verdana">Miniature Golf Equipment<o:p></o:p></span></u></strong></p>

<li><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: green">Players on the course should never delay the game without good reason.<o:p></o:p></span></em></li>
<li><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: green">No Practicing, you don’t get a chance to practice in the game.<o:p></o:p></span></em></li>
<li><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: green">A swing and miss is NOT a hit, that’s important lots of mini golf courses use this tactic to speed up the games.<o:p></o:p></span></em></li>
<li><em><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: green">All the mini golf strokes are counted, EVEN penalties too so be careful how you swing your club</span></em></li>
